An individual from Roane County was charged with failing to register as a sex offender. Deputies processed 48-year-old Edward Douglas McGhee of Harriman at the Roane County jail yesterday. Court officials say McGhee was convicted in 2013 for criminal attempt to commit aggravated statutory rape.
