First responders were called Monday afternoon to a vehicle accident on Highway 70 in White County in the Bon Air community. The crash report states 19-year-old Phillip Moore of Cookeville in a 2005 Ford Focus was trying to turn into a driveway when his car was hit in the rear by an oncoming 2010 Jeep Wrangler driven by 22-year-old Maddie Bernabei of Crossville. Both drivers were restrained and not injured. Bernabei was cited for failure to exercise due care.
