MEEK AND DAVIS ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY
Two individuals are facing drug charges after a traffic stop Friday in Cumberland County.
A deputy pulled over a Nissan Sentra driven by 38-year-old Emily Meek of Crossville on the 600 block of South Mail Road for a suspended registration. A K-9 officer alerted the deputy to the possible presence of illegal drugs. A probable cause search revealed a black hard case with a white crystal-like substance believed to be meth in multiple baggies.
A search of a passenger in the car, 38-year-old Christopher Lee Davis of Crossville, reportedly produced meth, marijuana, and cocaine.
Both were arrested and transported to the Cumberland County jail.
While being processed into the jail, female officers searched Meek. They reportedly found a small baggie of marijuana in her bra and a small amount of meth in her wallet.
Meek was charged with the manufacture, sale, and delivery of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, and introducing contraband into a penal institution.
Davis was charged with the manufacture, sale, and delivery of meth and two counts of simple possession of drugs.
