MILITARY PLAQUE STOLEN FOR 2ND TIME AT GRAVE SITE IN NEVER FAIL CEMETERY

A citizen in Cumberland County reported to the sheriff’s office a military copper plaque was stolen from her uncle’s gravesite at Never Fail Cemetery. The name on it is “Carol Vaughn Walker”. The foot stone was also taken with “V.L. Walker” engraved on it. This is the second time a plaque was taken from the burial site as the original one was stolen back in July 2020 and had to be replaced.

No suspects were named in the report and the victim stated there are always people hanging out at the cemetery sitting on random headstones.

If you have any information that can lead to an arrest in this case, call the sheriff’s department at (931) 484-6176.
