A Monroe County sheriff’s deputy was recently involved in a single-vehicle accident, injuring himself and a prisoner. Deputy David Greaves was involved in a crash on Highway 411 when he reportedly had an unexpected medical condition, which caused his vehicle to veer off the roadway and come to rest in a field. Both Greaves and the prisoner in the cruiser were transported to area hospitals for treatment.
