A Monterey man was killed Tuesday morning in a fatal crash on Muddy Pond Road. The Tennessee Highway Patrol says that 38-year-old Benjamin Bohannon was traveling north around 11 AM when his 2003 Mazda crossed the center line at the top of a hill. The Mazda collided head-on with a 2002 Chevy driven by 18-year-old Nehemiah Horst, also of Monterey. Horst was uninjured. No citations were issued and both men were said to have seatbelts on.
