MONTEREY POLICE ARREST MAN ON FINANCIAL EXPLOITATION OF A VULNERABLE ADULT CHARGES
On Tuesday, May 19, 2026, officers from the Monterey Police Department arrested Charles Martin Davis on two active warrants stemming from an in-depth investigation into the suspected theft of money from an elderly woman. Davis allegedly obtained the victim’s financial account information and stole a total of $17,500 over a period of time.
Following his arrest, he was transported to the Putnam County Jail and booked. His bond was set at $50,000 for the Financial Exploitation of an Elderly or Vulnerable Person warrant and $35,000 for the Theft of Property warrant.
