MORE RAIN MONDAY
There were scattered heavy thunderstorms around the plateau today and some produced some pretty vicious cloud-to-ground lightning. Showers and storms are likely again on Monday and then chances go down to 50% on Tuesday and then Wednesday and Thursday I am expecting sunny and hot with 90 to 95 degrees around middle and East Tennessee including the plateau! By next weekend scattered storms will return to the forecast. The national high today was 118 at Death Valley California and the low was 28 at Peter Sinks Utah.
