MORE RAIN TONIGHT & FRIDAY

A few severe thunderstorms developed over Middle Tennessee late Thursday with the most severe weather over White County and the Very Western portion of Cumberland County. We had several reports of trees blown down as well as numerous reports of large hail between Sparta and Pleasant Hill with some as large as quarters breaking a few windows on Bon Air Mountain. More showers and a few thunderstorms are likely through Friday and it may be late Saturday before we can take rain completely out of the forecast. A beautiful weather pattern will be with us from Sunday through next Thursday with sunny days and high temperatures climbing from 75 on Mother’s Day to 85 by the middle of the week, parts of East Tennessee will hit 90 degrees next week.
