Robert David Morse, age 20, made his first appearance in a Cumberland County courtroom today charged with first-degree murder. He stands accused of the fatal shooting of 20-year-old Matthew Musser at a home on September 26, 2020. Musser passed away from multiple gunshot wounds. The judge bound the case over today to a grand jury for possible indictments and where the case will be in criminal court instead of general sessions. The grand jury is set to meet in January 2021. The bond for Morse remains at $1 million dollars.
