A vehicle accident involving a motorcycle and a car in Anderson County resulted in fatalities. A Honda motorcycle operated by 29-year-old Zachary Johnston of Clinton was traveling north on Clinton Highway at East Wolf Valley Road with 31-year-old Stephanie Whitaker of Knoxville as a passenger. A Honda Accord driven by 38-year-old Casey Hall reportedly pulled out into the path of Johnston. The impact ejected Johnston and Whitaker and both were pronounced deceased at the scene. Both were wearing helmets at the time of impact. Hall was not hurt and troopers say charges are pending against him.
