MOTORCYCLE CRASH LEADS TO ARREST IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY

Thursday morning around 2 AM officers were dispatched to Pow Camp Road for a possible motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival, they noticed a motorcycle that was lying in the yard on its side with the engine still running. The driver, Benjamin Breeding age 36, was covered in mud and lying on the ground with a helmet next to him.

When making contact with Benjamin, he had slurred speech, an alcohol smell coming from his person, and was very unsteady on his feet. After having to be helped to the patrol car, dispatch notified that Benjamin had a revoked driver’s license for a DUI.

He was arrested and charged with DUI and driving on a revoked license. Vials of blood were taken and sent to the TBI lab for testing.
