MOTORCYCLIST FLOWN TO TRAUMA CENTER AFTER ACCIDENT IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY
The Tennessee Highway Patrol and medics responded to a vehicle versus a motorcycle accident late yesterday on I-40 at the 327 mile marker in Cumberland County. The report indicates a 2016 Dodge Ram driven by 54-year-old Daniel Willis of Spring City changed lanes and struck a 2006 Honda Shadow operated by 35-year-old Gary Wright of Crossville. The impact sent the Honda and Wright off the road, striking a ditch and overturned. Wright was flown by Lifestar to U.T. Medical Center for treatment of injuries. Troopers say charges are pending against Willis.
