A motorcyclist was injured following an accident early last night in Crossville. Medics and police responded to the 1,000 block of Holiday Drive after the rider left the road and collided with a concrete mailbox. An air medical helicopter was called in and landed at the Crossville Memorial Airport to take the patient to a trauma center for treatment of injuries sustained. A full report will be released soon by the Crossville Police Department. This was one of three motorcycle accidents to take place in Cumberland County over the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
