Crossville police and medics responded to a vehicle accident last night on Northside Drive. The report states a 1999 Honda motorcycle operated by 52-year-old Hollie Brenton Hairston was approaching a curve at South Drive when Hairston came upon a large amount of gravel in the road. The motorbike went into a slide and collided with a 2008 Jeep Liberty driven by 36-year-old Mauro Caselli of Crossville who stopped before the initial impact. Hairston landed in a grassy area off the asphalt and taken to Cumberland Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. The “Northside Curve” where this crash happened has been the scene of numerous accidents over the past few months.
