TDOT (Tennessee Department of Transportation) wishes to remind motorists of overnight road work on I-40 between mile markers 322 and 329 in Cumberland County. Crews are re-paving presently in the eastbound lanes. Once complete, it will shift to the westbound side. Drivers should expect delays from 10 p.m. until 7 a.m. daily. The project is projected to be completed in late September. This area has been the site of several accidents in the past few days. One between the 322 and 323 mile marker was fatal yesterday morning claiming the life of a Fentress County man.
