(Developing Story) – A multi law enforcement agency vehicle pursuit in Crossville ended around 4 p.m. on Lantana Road and Miller Bypass.

Initial reports indicate Crossville police and deputies with the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office chased a motorist in a van.

Stop sticks were deployed at one point in the pursuit to try to stop the suspect. The van ran over the stop sticks and continued. Officers blocked in the van against a pole at the intersection of Lantana Road and Miller Bypass.

The suspect was arrested and taken to jail facing several charges.

More information will be released, including the name of the suspect and why the chase started, at a later time.
