MULTIPLE CHARGES FILED AFTER FIREARM REPORTEDLY DISCHARGED

CROSSVILLE POLICE ARREST MAN AT DOLLAR GENERAL STORE FOR DRUG INDUCED P.I.

An incident in Cumberland County after shots were reportedly fired resulted in an arrest. Deputies went to a home on Myrtle Avenue Saturday where a victim told officers 29-year-old Thomas Edward Metcalf of Crossville pulled a handgun in a threatening manner. Metcalf then reportedly discharged the weapon. Metcalf fled the scene and was later arrested at a residence on Baker Lane. He was charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm while committing a felony.
