On Sunday, July 13, 2025, JOHNNY RAY FOUTCH was arrested and charged with the first degree murder of his wife THERESA FOUTCH in Pickett County, Tennessee.

Pickett County Sheriffs Department initially responded to the Foutch residence. Theresa Foutch was found deceased. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Pickett County Sheriffs Office gathered sufficient evidence to obtain an arrest warrant for Johnny Ray Foutch. The investigation is still on-going.

Foutch will appear in the General Sessions Court on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 for his initial court appearance.
