NASHVILLE JUDGE GRANTS MEDIA GROUP ACCESS TO FALL CREEK FALLS BID RECORDS
A Nashville judge has ruled that the state will have to produce records to the media that show an attempt to outsource hospitality services at Fall Creek Falls State Park. The lawsuit was originally filed by the Nashville Scene and Nashville Post’s parent company, City Press Communications LLC. The media group said that state Dept. of General Services Commissioner Robert Oglesby refused to produce such records at their request. The state has been trying to take bids on privatizing the park’s services at its’ inn. However, the state says no bids were received in the process.
