NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE: CROSSVILLE SETS RECORD DAILY RAINFALL AMOUNT

The National Weather Service says Crossville set a record daily rainfall of 4.17″ yesterday (Sunday. April 12, 2020), breaking the previous record of 1.60″ set on April 12, 1979. This was almost as much in one day as Crossville typically sees for the entire month of April, which averages 4.84″. Yesterday was also the wettest April day ever for Crossville, breaking the previous record of 4.13″ set on April 4, 1977.
