Crossville, TN- The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office took a report for theft on Wednesday after a man noticed transactions while reviewing his mother’s bank account that was not approved.

The man stated he noticed two different transactions for $50. When speaking with the bank, they informed him it was through a cash app. The owner of the cash app belongs to 41-year-old Carlene Garrett who allegedly sent the money to Josh Mosely and both lives across the street from his mother. The man advised that they have had issues in the past with both of these individuals for theft.

The man’s mother is currently in the hospital and they plan to get bank records when she is better.

No charges or arrests have been made.
