NEW BROADBAND ACCESSIBILITY GRANTS ANNOUNCED FOR CUMBERLAND, OVERTON, FENTRESS AND BLEDSOE COUNTIES

Governor Bill Lee announced yesterday four counties in the coverage area will get new broadband accessibility grants to help expand internet access in areas that currently are without it.
Ben Lomand (VolFirst) was awarded $2 million for Cumberland County. This is the project that was worked on for the Highway 127 North area.
BTC Fiber will see $1,500,000 to serving parts of Bledsoe County
Twin Lakes will get $1.4 million to install fiber in parts of Overton and Fentress counties.
