NEW FEATURE ON IPHONE IS CALLING 911 WHEN ON ROLLER COASTERS

The iPhone 14’s new crash detection feature is causing problems for users who ride roller coasters. Apple’s latest phone is reportedly getting a bit glitchy on the rides by dialing 911.

The same crash detection technology is also featured on the Apple Watch 8.

Signage on some of Dollywood’s high-thrill rides tells guests to consider turning their phones off or activating airplane mode before riding.

Crash detection was added as a default feature to all new iPhone 14s and other Apple devices and uses device data to detect signs of a car crash like loud noises and shocks.
