NEWS FROM THE CROSSVILLE CITY COUNCIL MEETING – JULY 23, 2019

This morning in a special called session, the Crossville City Council discussed a resolution renewing a loan that would extend $798,000. That amount is part of a radio communications system upgrade. Instead Councilman J.H. Graham III made a motion to pay off the loan to be free of the interest involved. The motion received a quick second from Mayor James Mayberry and passes unanimously.
The council also approved an amendment to the 2018-2019 budget year-end adjustments. Members also gave the go-ahead on the purchase of two inch thick asphalt for walking trails at Centennial Park and a 2019 Chevy Tahoe 4 wheel drive as a support vehicle for the Crossville Fire Department.
