NO BIDDERS ON FALL CREEK FALLS SERVICES OUTSOURCING
No bids were entered in the latest quest to outsource some services at Fall Creek Falls State Park. It’s been part of Gov. Bill Haslam’s agenda to begin outsourcing at state parks in his words, to save money. The Tennessee State Employees Association and workers at the park have protested bringing in contracted services to the park’s inn. Officials say that no bids were offered up, as has happened in the past when bid proposals were requested at other parks for such services.
