NO BURN PERMITS ISSUED UNTIL AFTER MONDAY (UPDATED)

Per the Tennessee Division of Forestry, burn permits are not being issued today, Friday, 2/28/2025 through Monday 3/3/2025, in Cumberland County, TN. No burn permits are being issued due to hazardous fire conditions.

Per the Tennessee Division of Forestry, no outside burning is allowed during this timeframe, and no burn permits are being issued due to hazardous fire conditions and restrictions.
Forestry will review the weather conditions on Monday to determine next week’s plan of action.

Knox County has banned open burning starting today, February 28, 2025, and continuing through Monday, March 3, 2025, due to the current dry conditions and forecasted continued low humidity. They will reevaluate conditions on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.
