LLYOD FILED APPLICATION FOR COMMUTATION AFTER WYATT DOUBLE MURDER

Our Cumberland County Community will remember when, in 2006, Huston Lloyd, Jr. murdered two very dear people, Kimberly Wyatt, age 27, known to her family affectionately as “Kimbo” and her daughter Sarah Wyatt, age 4.
Lloyd received two consecutive sentences of life without the possibility of parole. His actions shocked our community to its core and forever hurt the family of Kimberly and Sarah.
Recently, Lloyd filed an Application for Commutation of his sentence with the Governor and Board of Parole.
In response, family members of the victims (John and Julie Mullinix) and the District Attorney’s office have gathered almost 4000 letters from citizens, family, friends, and supporters all written in opposition to the Petition for Clemency. These opposition letters will be submitted to the Tennessee Board of Parole and the Governor’s Office.
Lloyd murdered this young woman and her child in one of the most violent acts imaginable. The two were shot in the parking lot of Lantana Church of Christ.
