On Tuesday afternoon, a T-bone crash occurred on Highway 27 in Rockwood at the entrance to the Big Lots shopping center, with no serious injuries reported. According to Rockwood Police Chief Kelly Pittman, a female driver in a black SUV traveling northbound collided with a Nissan pickup that allegedly pulled out in front of her.

The pickup driver did not require hospitalization, while the female driver may have sought medical attention via private vehicle. The accident restricted traffic to one lane in both directions during the investigation and vehicle recovery. The police report is incomplete, but charges may be pending.
