NO INJURIES IN THIS MORNING’S THREE-VEHICLE CRASH ON HIGHWAY 70
On November 24, 2025, at approximately 0748 hours, a three-vehicle crash occurred on U.S. Route 70 near Highland Lane in Cumberland County, Tennessee. A 2005 Mack 700 dump truck (Vehicle 1), driven by 27-year-old James Scott of Tennessee, was traveling westbound behind a 2024 Nissan Frontier (Vehicle 2) driven by 50-year-old Michelle Rogers of Alabama.
As Vehicle 2 slowed to make a left turn onto Highland Lane, Vehicle 1 attempted to pass or avoid a rear-end collision, sideswiping the driver-side mirror of an oncoming eastbound 2011 Honda CR-V (Vehicle 3) driven by 51-year-old Tiffany Callaway of Tennessee. Vehicle 1 then struck the left rear of Vehicle 2, causing Vehicle 2 to spin and come to rest in the westbound lane.
Vehicle 1 also spun before final rest, scraping the front left bumper of Vehicle 2. Vehicle 3 came to a controlled stop on the westbound shoulder. All three drivers were wearing seat belts and none sustained injuries.
No charges have been filed at this time.
