(DEVELOPING STORY) – The Fairfield Glade police and fire department are investigating a construction accident at Saint Francis of Assisi Church. Initial reports indicate no one was injured. Crews report multiple building and vehicle damage at the scene. Power lines are down and that resulted in just under 100 VEC customers to be without power. At this time (11:40 a.m. central, Tuesday, August 4, 2020) there is no entrance available to the church campus. Further details of the accident will be available by the Fairfield Glade Police Department soon.
