(BREAKING NEWS as of 7:05 a.m. central, Monday, April 19, 2021) – Cumberland County deputies and medics are on the scene of a school bus versus a Chevy Silverado accident on Mayland Road at Cow Pen Road.

The bus number is 1113. The Tennessee Highway Patrol will be investigating the accident and a full report of the crash will be released by them at a later time.

(UPDATE) – Three students were seen by medics and later transported to the hospital. The bus driver was not hurt. The operator of the Chevy sustained possible minor injuries.
