The Rockwood Police Department arrested a person wanted on outstanding warrants last night. Officers pulled over a vehicle with 20-year-old Jayson Andrew Norris inside on South Gateway Avenue and served him with aggravated assault and possession of a prohibited weapon warrants. Norris was transported to the Roane County jail. Information regarding the circumstances of the charges was not initially available.
