Motorists traveling through Fentress County this morning should prepare for brief delays. According to the Fentress County Sheriff’s Office, the northbound lane of Highway 127 in front of the National Guard Armory will close temporarily starting around or before 9:00 a.m.

The closure is expected to last for approximately one hour. During this time, drivers heading northbound will be rerouted onto Owens Road, continuing down Tinch Town Road, and toward Taylor Place.

Authorities urge drivers to slow down, exercise caution, and follow all instructions from personnel managing traffic control in the area. The Sheriff’s Office thanked the community in advance for their patience and cooperation.
