OAK RIDGE CITIZEN WINS $100,000 IN STATE LOTTERY

STATEWIDE – As the Powerball jackpot continues its meteoric rise, thousands of Tennessee Lottery players continue to have fun and win prizes at non-jackpot levels along the way. This includes six $50,000 winners and two $100,000 winners from Wednesday night’s drawing.
Details include:
Five players matched four numbers plus the Powerball to win $50,000. Those winning tickets were sold at the following locations:
Thorntons, 7102 Charlotte Pk. in Nashville,
Publix, 2315 E. Andrew Johnson Hwy. in Greeneville
Kroger, 2615 Franklin Rd. in Nashville
E-Z Stop Food Mart, 9200 Kingston Pk. in Knoxville
HT Express, 14904 Rankin Ave. in Dunlap
Two players won $100,000 by matching four numbers plus the Powerball and adding Power Play, which doubled their $50,000 prize since the Power Play number drawn was two. Those tickets were purchased at:
Quince Road Food Mart, 5665 Quince Rd. in Memphis
M&S Quik Mart, 200 S. Illinois Ave. in Oak Ridge
And one lucky player won $50,000 from the Powerball Double Play drawing, which occurs after the regular drawing. That winning ticket was sold at Lottery Station, 3253 Huntsville Hwy. in Fayetteville.
Meanwhile, the jackpot for this popular game has soared to $1.7 billion for Saturday, which is the third largest in the game’s history.
The Lottery reminds players to have fun and play responsibly. It only takes one ticket to win.
