OAK RIDGE POLICE MOURN FALLEN OFFICER
From a post made yesterday on the official Facebook page of the Oak Ridge Police Department:
“The Oak Ridge Police Police Department and City of Oak Ridge are mourning the loss of Police Lieutenant Marvell Moore who died unexpectedly today from medical complications following a recent procedure.
Lt. Moore joined ORPD in 2005. He served as Sergeant of the Criminal Investigations Division (CID) before being promoted to Lieutenant in January 2023. He has been a key to many collateral responsibilities within the department.
He was loved by so many. We extend our deepest condolences to Lt. Moore’s family and loved ones, and we appreciate the patience and understanding our community has extended to us during this difficult time.”
