Cumberland County deputies responded to a report of a stolen trailer located on the 1000 block of Browntown Road yesterday. The suspect pulling the trailer with a vehicle fled the scene prior to the officers arriving. It was later located on David Hammons Road. Deputies took 19-year-old Timothy Matthew Oakes into custody for theft and vandalism. The trailer was returned to the owner.
