A vehicle accident took place yesterday on Old Jamestown Highway near Hillcrest Drive in Cumberland County. Deputies state a 2008 Ford Edge driven by 39-year-old Reina Rivera of Crossville lost control in a curve, struck an embankment and rolled over. She informed officers it happened after she had dodged an oncoming car in her lane. Rivera and two juvenile passengers were restrained and escaped injury.
