Friday evening officers were dispatched to a residence off  East Valley Road in reference to a male swinging a hatchet around. Upon arrival, officers observed the male identified as Coy Junior Houston, age 69, standing in the driveway swinging a hatchet around. He put down the hatchet when seeing the officer and said he left his residence from Old HWY 28 and started walking down the road because invisible people were chasing him and he was using the hatchet for protection. Two deputies had taken Houston back to his residence earlier this day for being intoxicated and informed him to stay home and there was no one at his house. Mr. Houston alleged to officers, he had taken Methamphetamine the previous day. For the safety of the public and himself, Coy Houston was placed under arrest.
