OFFICIALS BREAK GROUND FOR NEW FALL CREEK FALLS INN FACILITY
Tennessee State Parks and elected officials broke ground Tuesday for the new Fall Creek Falls inn, restaurant and conference center. The venture, which is part of a $200 million investment in state parks made by Gov. Bill Haslam and the Tennessee General Assembly, is forecast to generate $278,000 annually in sales and occupancy taxes. The construction of the new facility is expected to bring in over 100 new jobs along with an estimated $14.7 million in taxable spending to the area. Construction is projected to be completed sometime in 2021.
