OLIVER SPRINGS CITY COUNCIL MEETING HIGHLIGHTS
The Oliver Springs Town Council and Water Board met last night at City Hall in regular session. The Water Board addressed a customer’s complaint about his water being cut off without prior notice and an unusually high bill. City Manager and Water Department Director Corey Jenkins informed the board and the customer that a new notification system is in development to alert customers of past-due bills.
The software is expected to be operational within two to three weeks, ensuring customers receive notices before service disconnections.
The Town Council meeting had one agenda item: scheduling a budget workshop for Tuesday, May 6, at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall.
The public is welcome to attend.
