An Oliver Springs man was hit by a vehicle and killed Friday night. The report states the first vehicle struck 57-year-old John Craig Nichols of Oliver Springs as he was walking across Tri-County Boulevard near Hannah Drive. Police say that resulted in fatal injuries to Nichols. A second vehicle then hit Nichols. No charges are expected to be filed against either driver in the accident. No further information was released by authorities.
