OLIVER SPRINGS P.D. NAMED R.C.A.D.C.’S PARTNER OF THE YEAR

From the Roane County Anti-Drug Coalition:
Congratulations to Oliver Springs Police Department for being named our Community Partner of the Year!
Our Coalition is very blessed and fortunate to have many impactful community partners and supporting agencies, and Oliver Springs Police Department has been a standout supporter of our prevention efforts not only within their community, but all across Roane County.
In addition to supporting RCADC, many times this school year we would see Oliver Springs Police Department at numerous Roane County Schools TN career fairs, STEM nights, parent resource nights, gaming trailer events, national law enforcement night out event, school sporting events, free movie nights at Arrowhead Park, and so much more. Our coalition staff not only noticed their positive presence, but understood the importance of their tremendous efforts to build impactful and meaningful relationships with all communities throughout Roane County.
RCADC prevention efforts are sustained by building relationships and relying on community partners, and every single time we phoned Chief David Laxton with a question, or opportunity to partner on an idea or event, he always said yes, and assisted RCADC in supporting students and families of Roane County.
Congratulations to Chief Laxton and the entire force at Oliver Springs Police Department – we thank you for ALL that you do to better Roane County
