OLIVER SPRINGS PUBLIC LIBRARY ANNOUNCES SUMMER READING KICKOFF AND FREE COMMUNITY COMPUTER CLASSES
The Oliver Springs Public Library is gearing up for an active summer season under the direction of Jessica Patterson, starting with the official launch of the Summer Reading Program on May 30th. This kickoff celebration promises a variety of attractions, including a bounce house, the Oliver Springs Police Department’s game trailer, and participation from Windrock with ATVs. A unique highlight of the event is the Kid’s Vendor Event; the library is currently seeking additional young entrepreneurs to participate, offering booth space entirely for free. Those interested in securing a spot can contact the library at 865-435-2509, while general registration for the Summer Reading Program can be completed via the library’s official website.
In addition to the summer festivities, the library is providing educational opportunities for the community through a free computer class. Scheduled to run from May 18–22, 2026, the sessions will take place daily from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Prospective students can find more information and register for the course online through the Tech4All Tennessee website.
