OLIVER SPRINGS TOWN COUNCIL TO MEET TONIGHT AT 7

Oliver Springs Town Council members will meet this evening at 7 p.m. at City Hall.

The council and mayor are expected to introduce Michael Clement of the law firm Ridenour & Ridenour Attorneys at Law as their new City Attorney and also seek a replacement for the vacancy left by the resignation of Rusty Phillips in Ward 4. The Council is expected to approve running an ad in paper for Ward 4 and to solicit resumes for the council position.

The Council will also look to schedule a public meeting Thursday, May 16, for anyone wishing to weigh in on proposed Historic Zoning in the downtown area.

Finally, they will discuss and possibly approve donating two used computers from the Oliver Springs Library to The Carmichael Group.

The public is welcome to attend.
