A two vehicle accident in Anderson County yesterday resulted in a fatality and two injuries. Trooper Jacob Wiser says a 2016 Ford Focus driven by 28-year-old Kala Lamb of Knoxville was traveling north on Highway 441 when she crossed over a double yellow line and hit an oncoming 2016 Jeep Wrangler operated by 67-year-old Beverly Humphrey of Keiskell head on. Lamb, who was not restrained, was ejected upon impact and passed away. A passenger in the Focus, 30-year-old Nathan Gifford of Clinton, and Humphrey were both taken by ambulance to U.T. Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.
