A two-vehicle rear-end collision occurred around noon today on Kentucky Street in the southbound lanes near the Ace Hardware entrance in Kingston. The crash involved a flatbed truck and a car, injuring two people. One person was transported to Roane Medical Center by ambulance, while the other was taken by private vehicle with no serious injuries reported.

Kingston Police, assisted by the Kingston Fire Department, managed the scene. Southbound lanes were closed for approximately one hour for investigation and vehicle removal.
