One person was injured in a two vehicle accident in Cumberland County Sunday night. Troopers say a 2004 Chevy Impala driven by 57-year-old Michael R. Daignault of Crossville was approaching Highway 70 North crossing over to West Creston Road when he failed to yield to an oncoming 2006 Porsche operated by 33-year-old Cara Lynn Ferguson of Grant, Alabama. Daignault was taken to Cumberland Medical Center for treatment and later released. He was charged with driving on a revoked license, failure to yield and driving without insurance. Ferguson and three passengers in the Porsche escaped injury.
