A single vehicle accident on I-40 in Roane County yesterday left one injured and traffic tied up for a couple of hours. A 2019 Dodge Ram driven by 28-year-old Aaron Lovett of Memphis left the road at the 355 mile marker after he lost control of a truck he was towing. Both vehicles went through cable barriers, then detached resulting in one of the trucks coming to rest on its top in one lane of the eastbound traffic. Lovett was treated for injuries sustained. The accident cause traffic to be jammed not only on I-40 near the scene but on Highway 70 towards Kingston.
