On Monday night around 9 PM, a man was traveling in a Nissan Pathfinder on HWY 127S close to the Bledsoe County line when his vehicle veered off the right side of the road. It then struck a tree causing the vehicle to overturn and roll several times. The driver identified as 63-year-old Brent Kennedy died at the scene.

Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office and Fire and Rescue were dispatched to the scene.
